My very favorite winged insect, Acherontia atropos, more commonly known as a death's head hawk moth. It's a big bug with a skull shape on its thorax. I played that skull shape up, but to me, this moth looks quite friendly. I would feel blessed to receive a visit from one!
This is a large linocut print for me. It measures 11 x 6 inches and is titled, signed and dated on back.
Shipped with care: surface protected with a sheet of tissue parchment, packed in a rigid mailer so it won't bend on its way to you. All of my orders ship with a little sticker too!
