All of my linocut prints are completely original: hand-drawn, hand-cut and hand-pressed. This one is made to order and can be printed with either black or brown relief ink. When I carved this block, I was inspired by the boldness and simplicity of modern figuration, especially Matisse's cutouts.
This is a hand-carved, hand-pressed linocut on acid-free paper. It measures 5.5 x 7.5 inches, and I left a little room for a mat if so desired. Signed and dated on the back. Due to the handmade nature of the linocut process, please allow for minor variations in ink adherence to the surface of the paper.
Shipped with care: surface protected with a sheet of tissue parchment, packed between two rigid sheets of recycled paper fiberboard. All of my orders arrive with a little sticker too.
